Provenance. Vient du celtique "halt et roen" Signifie "haut et royal". Se fête le 23 juin.
Histoire. Anglaise, Audrey est la fille d'Anna, roi d'Est-Anglie au VIIème siècle. Celui-ci lui impose le mariage pour des raisons politiques, bien qu'elle ait fait voeu de chasteté. Refusant, Audrey s'enfuit et se réfugie dans une abbaye. Plus tard, elle fondera un important monastère mixte qu'elle gouvernera jusqu'à sa mort, le 23 juin 679.
Caractère. Femmes séduisantes et déterminées, elles ont une personnalité bien marquée et ne se laissent pas faire. Courageuses, discrètes, elles aiment aller jusqu'au bout de ce qu'elles entreprennent. Très sensibles, elles sont parfois vulnérables. Elles ont de la présence et de la conversation. Leur compagnie est agréable.
