Provenance. Diminutif féminin d'Augustin. Vient du latin "augustus" Signifie : "vénérable" Se fête le 28 août.
Histoire. Saint Augustin est né en Algérie d'une mère chrétienne (Ste Monique) et d'un père païen. Citoyen romain, il étudie à Carthage. C'est un sujet brillant mais débauché. Plus tard, il se convertit au christianisme, se fait prêtre, puis devient évêque. Théologien renommé, il est fait Docteur de l'Eglise. Il meurt à Hippone le 28 août 430.
Caractère. Parfois difficiles à vivre, à cause de leur changement d'humeur, ce sont des femmes de caractère. Elles veulent sans cesse aller de l'avant, se dépasser. Courageuses, intrépides, ce sont des aventurières qui n'aiment pas rester en place. Elles ont le sens de la générosité. Ordonnées, précises, ce sont des femmes pleines de bon sens, à l'esprit pratique et optimiste.
