Provenance. Prénom dérivé de David. Vient de l'hébreu "daoud" Signifie : "aimé de Dieu" Se fête le 29 décembre.
Histoire. David est le deuxième roi d'Israël et l'un des plus grands prophètes, de 1015 à 976 avant Jésus Christ. Jeune berger, il tue de sa fronde le géant Goliath. Sacré roi, il fait de Jérusalem sa capitale. C'est un roi poète et, aujourd'hui encore, Juifs et Chrétiens se nourrissent de ses psaumes. Après sa mort, le peuple espère que l'un de ses descendants sera le Messie.
Caractère. Volontaires, courageuses, elles prennent des risques et sont assez "casse-cou". Généreuses, elles se mettent en quatre pour leurs amis. Elles ont du caractère et ne reculent pas devant les responsabilités. Energiques, toujours actives, rien ne les arrête. Gaies et enjouées, bavardes, elles entraînent facilement leur entourage avec elles. Elles sont directes, mais manquent de diplomatie.
