Provenance. Vient du grec "dêmêter" déesse romaine de la terre. Se fête le 26 octobre.
Histoire. Saint Dimitri était diacre, en Yougoslavie, dans les premiers siècles du christianisme. Il mourut martyr. On ne sait rien d'autre sur sa vie. Il est vénéré en Grèce et à Gap (Hautes Alpes) où ses reliques auraient été apportées. Certains hagiographes indiquent qu'il aurait été le premier évêque de Gap.
Caractère. De tempérament dominateur, ils aiment commander. Travailleurs infatigables, rien ne les arrête. D'esprit pratique, passionnés, ils se donnent entièrement à ce qu'ils entreprennent. Ils sont facilement rancuniers s'ils se sentent trahis. Têtus, il est difficile de les faire changer d'avis. Ils ont des principes qu'ils respectent scrupuleusement.
