Provenance. Prénom dérivé de Dorothée. Vient du grec "doron et theos" Signifie : "cadeau et Dieu" Se fête le 6 février.
Histoire. Jeune chrétienne condamnée au supplice à Césarée en Cappadoce (Turquie), vers la fin du IIIème siècle, Dorothée ne succombe aux tortures qu'après avoir converti son avocat, Théophile et les deux femmes chargées de la faire apostasier. Ils connaîtront tous les trois le même sort.
Caractère. Passionnées, volontaires, elles sont capables d'excès quand il s'agit de leur réussite. Souriantes, décontractées, ce sont des bourreaux au travail. Elles détestent la routine, aiment se retrouver seules pour se ressourcer. Intelligentes, charmeuses, elles savent s'attirer les bonnes grâces de leur entourage. Elles sont exigeantes et dominatrices.
