Provenance. Prénom d'origine galloise. Signifie : "pays, vallée" Se fête le 11 septembre.
Histoire. Nous ne savons rien sur saint Glen, sinon qu'une paroisse des Côtes d'Armor porte son nom ainsi qu'une chapelle à Saint Tugdual, dans le Morbihan. On rencontre davantage ce prénom outre Manche sous la forme de Glen, Glyn, Glynn, Glenard, Glennon, etc.. Ce prénom a été poplarisé, aux Etats-Unis, à la suite du voyage dans l'espace de John Glenn.
Caractère. Ce sont des sentimentaux d'une forte émotivité, au tempérament vif. Ils sont bavards, aiment se montrer et ont besoin de beaucoup d'amis pour s'épanouir. Ils recherchent plutôt la facilité et doivent se faire violence pour entreprendre, préférant le vagabondage de l'esprit. Assez versatiles, manquant de patience, ils s'énervent rapidement. Ils sont très affectueux et ont besoin de se sentir aimés.
