Provenance. Prénom dérivé d'Alban. Vient du latin "Albus", signifie "Blanc" Se fête le 1er mars.
Histoire. Originaire dupays de Vannes Albin ou Aubin est élu évêque d'Angers en 529. Il fustige courageusement, au péril de sa vie, les princes pour leur conduite déplorable. Albin finira octogénaire, le 1er mars 550, ayant obtenu de l'Eglise la comdamnation des mariages incestueux. Dès 556, une basilique lui est dédiée à Angers où se trouve ses reliques et qui deviendra une grande abbaye. C'est la saint patron de la ville d'Angers.
Caractère. Réfléchis, équilibrés, bien dans leur peau, ce sont des êtres gais et positifs. Intuitifs, très sociables, ils ont une force d'inertie redoutable. Rien ne semble pouvoir les atteindre. Ils sont généralement discrets et assez réservés. Ils vivent à leur rythme et n'aiment pas être bousculés. En amour, leur gentillesse et leur discrétion sont leurs principaux atouts.
