Provenance. Forme ancienne de Baudoin. Vient du germain "bald et win". signifie : "audacieux et ami" Se fête le 17 octobre.
Histoire. Soupçonné de sympathie avec l'ennemi, Baudouin, alors archidiacre, est assassiné par les agents du maire du palais de Neustrie, à Laon, en 679. Il est inhumé avec tous les honneurs à l'abbaye Notre-Dame et honoré comme un martyr. Un second saint Baudouin, moine cistercien au XIIème siècle, est fêté le 21 août.
Caractère. Réfléchis, plutôt introvertis, ils se font remarquer pour leur discrétion. Exigeants, ils ne supportent pas la médiocrité. Perspicaces, ils mènent des projets de longue haleine. Ils défendent leurs intérêts avec pugnacité. Précis, méthodiques, ils ont ont le goût du luxe et sont assez dispendieux.
