Provenance. Vient du germain "ingfridh" Signifie : "aimée, belle" Se fête le 2 septembre.
Histoire. Petite fille du roi de Suède, au XIIIème siècle, après un pélerinage en Terre Sainte et à Rome, Ingrid décide avec l'appui des premiers missionnaires dominicains de fonder un couvent de religieuses cloîtrées dans son pays. Elle en devient la première prieure et meurt en 1282.
Caractère. Elles ont incontestablement les pieds sur terre. Peu émotives, elles sont très actives et réagissent rapidement. De nature secrète, plutôt renfermées, elles se livrent difficilement, ruminant longtemps leur déception. Elles aiment posséder. Volontaires, scrupuleuses, d'une morale stricte, ce sont aussi des femmes de coeur qui ont besoin d'êtres aimées et entourées.
