Provenance. Vient du grec "Alexein et Andros" Signifie : "Protéger et Homme, viril" Se fête le 22 avril.
Histoire. Alexandre est grec et chrétien. De passage à Lyon, il échappe de justesse à la persécution qui a coûté la vie à l'évêque Pothin et à la jeune Blandine, ainsi qu'à plus de quarante autres personnes, en juin 177. Mais dénoncé par un domestique, il est arrêté, jugé et torturé. Puis il meurt crucifié, au début de l'année 178.
Caractère. Ce sont des forces de la nature, équilibrés, réalistes, calmes, qui rassurent par leur présence. Ils ne font pas toujours dans la douceur, car ce sont des battants. Un peu rebelles vis à vis de la hiérarchie, ils préfèrent donner des ordres plutôt qu'en recevoir. Esprit indépendant, ils préservent leur jardin secret. En amour, leur charme favorise les nouvelles conquêtes.
