Provenance. Forme méridionale de Georges. Vient du grec "gheorghios" Signifie : "travailleur de la terre" Se fête le 23 avril.
Histoire. Ce que l'on sait de saint Georges relève de la légende... Prince et chrétien convaincu, il détruisait les idoles qu'il trouvait sur son chemin. Arrêté par les romains, il aurait subi le martyre pendant sept ans et ressuscité trois fois. La seule certitude que nous ayons, c'est qu'il mourut martyr en 303. Son culte s'est répandu très vite dans toute la chrétienté.
Caractère. Ce sont des bavards qui éprouvent en permanence le besoin d'expliquer en public leurs moindres faits et gestes. Plus l'auditoire est admiratif et plus ils sont contents. Généreux, fidèles en amitié, créatifs, hyperactifs, ils ne s'arrêtent jamais de courir. Plus manuels qu'intellectuels, ils sont ingénieux et ne se découragent jamais. Ce sont des séducteurs-nés qui ont besoin de vivre entourés.
