Provenance. Prénom dérivé de Léon. Vient du latin "leo" Signifie : "lion" Se fête le 10 novembre.
Histoire. Né à la fin du IVème siècle, diacre de Rome, il apprit son élection à la papauté en 440 lors d'un voyage en Gaule. Léon Ier fut un grand pape et se conduisit comme un véritable chef d'état, intervenant dans toutes les régions du monde pour asseoir l'autorité de l'Eglise de Rome. Il organisa plusieurs conciles et évita, par sa diplomatie, qu'Attila n'envahisse Rome. Il meurt à Rome le 10 novembre 461.
Caractère. Ordonnés, logiques, ils sont plutôt conformistes. Diplomates, patients, ils aiment expliquer et convaincre. Ce sont de bons pédagogues. Calmes, méthodiques, précis, ils sont pourvus d'une forte personnalité. Bavards, nonchalants, sociables, ce sont des épicuriens qui savent profiter de la vie. Amoureux de l'ordre, ils n'aiment pas l'imprévu. Ce sont d'extraordinaires conteurs qui aiment charmer leur auditoire.
