Provenance. Forme germanique d'Alfred. Vient du germain "al et frido" Signifie "tout et paix" Se fête le 15 août.
Histoire. Moine à Corvey, en Westphalie, Alfred est élu évêque d'Hildesheim en 851. Ami du roi Louis II le germanique, il est chargé de missions diplomatiques délicates. On l'appelle le "tout pacifique", car il s'ingénie à réconcilier les ennemis et à maintenir la paix. Il meurt le 15 août 874.
Caractère. Vives, autoritaires, indépendantes, ce sont des femmes d'action. Elles sont parfois velléitaires et ne vont pas toujours jusqu'au bout de ce qu'elles ont entrepris. Charmeuses, ce sont plus de grandes séductrices que de grandes amoureuses. Leur morale est un peu élastique. D'une intelligence intuitive, elles se méfient des grands raisonnements. Etourdies, touche à tout, elles n'en sont pas moins très attachantes.
