Provenance. Forme anglo-saxonne de Nicolas. Vient du Grec "niké et laos" Signifie : "victoire et peuple" Se fête le 6 décembre.
Histoire. Né en Asie Mineure vers 270, Nicolas fut élu évêque de Myre, en Turquie. Il participa au 1er concile oecuménique de Nicée en 325 et souffrit beaucoup de la persécution de Dioclétien. Il mourut en prison un 6 décembre, vers 350. Au XIème siècle, les reliques de saint Nicolas sont transférées en Italie, fuyant ainsi l'avancée musulmane. La légende en fait un saint très populaire, puisqu'il va même jusqu'à remplacer le Père Noël.
Caractère. Ils rêvent toujours d'un monde parfait et font beaucoup de projets, mais qui n'aboutissent pas toujours. Fiers, distants, ils ne supportent pas la médiocrité. Ce sont des hommes très actifs, qui entreprennent plusieurs choses à la fois. Calmes, pondérés, tolérants, ils sont dotés d'un sang froid étonnant. Ils ont une âme de chef et aiment commander. Ce sont des amis sûrs, mais ils recherchent davantage la solitude et la tranquillité.
