Nine
Provenance. Prénom dérivé de Catherine. Vient du grec "kataros", signifie : "pur" Se fête le 25 novembre.
Histoire. Jeune chrétienne d'Alexandrie, en Egypte, Catherine refuse de participer aux cérémonies religieuses païennes, vers 310. Convoquée au tribunal, elle confond par son éloquence et son érudition les juges et les savants réunis pour cette occasion. Condamnée, elle sera torturée et décapitée. Sainte Catherine est la patronne des philosophes et des enseignants.
Caractère. L'humilité n'est pas leur qualité première. Intelligentes, d'une moralité à toute épreuve, elles ont conscience de leur valeur. Très émotives, elles sont souvent nerveuses et "piquent" aussi de belles colères. Actives, sûres d'elles, sérieuses, elles sont obstinées et ne baissent pas les bras facilement. Elles ont souvent de la chance.
