Provenance. Vient du germain "north et man" Signifie : "nord et homme" Se fête le 6 juin.
Histoire. Pour des raisons éthymologiques, les "Norman" sont fêtés avec les Norbert. Saint Norbert, né en Rhénanie vers 1080, était de famille noble, apparentée aux empereurs d'Allemagne. Il mena une vie frivole et dissipée jusqu'au jour où il fut terrassé par la foudre. Impressionné et y voyant un signe, il décida de se consacrer à Dieu et mena une vie d'austérité au service des plus pauvres et de l'Evangile. Il fut nommé évêque de Saxe en 1126, où il meurt le 6 juin 1134.
Caractère. Ce sont plutôt des introvertis qui attachent beaucoup d'importance à leur vie intérieure, mais ceci ne les empêche pas d'être ouverts au monde. Discrets, ils ont horreur de se mettre au premier plan. Leur élégance en fait des séducteurs impénitents. D'apparence dilettante, ce sont en réalité des travailleurs acharnés. Accueillants, souriants, ils ont beaucoup d'humour et leur bonne humeur est communicative.
