Oluf
Provenance. Prénom d'origine scandinave. Signifie: "heureux" Se fête le 29 juillet.
Histoire. Jeune prince viking, au Xème siècle, Olaf participe à de nombreuses expéditions en France et en Angleterre. Il reçoit le baptême à Rouen, à l'âge de dix huit ans. Couronné roi de Norvège en 1016, à vint et un an, il lutte contre les païens et favorise le développement du christianisme. Il meurt en 1030, lors d'une bataille contre les Danois. Héros de l'indépendance norvégienne, il est honoré comme un saint et un martyr. Plusieurs églises lui sont dédiées dans son pays.
Caractère. De nature robuste et de forte personnalité, ils sont autoritaires et n'aiment pas se soumettre. Vifs, impulsifs, intelligents, ils se donnent entièrement à ce qu'ils entreprennent. Impatients, aimant le changement, il leur est difficile de rester en place. Ambitieux, combatifs, leur moralité passe après leurs intérêts. Ils ont le sens des affaires.
