Provenance. Forme anglo-saxonne de Philippe. Vient du grec "philos et hippos" Signifie : "ami et cheval" Se fête le 3 mai.
Histoire. Originaire de Palestine, saint Philippe fut l'un des premiers apôtres. On lui connaît trois filles, dont sainte Iris. Il employa sa vie à témoigner du Christ. Pour sa foi, il mourut martyr à l'âge de quatre vingt sept ans, crucifié la tête en bas, sous l'empereur Domitien, vers 90.
Caractère. Passionnés, émotifs, ce sont des êtres équilibrés qui aiment se battre et gagner. La compétition, ils adorent. Enthousiastes, ils entraînent leur entourage dans leur sillage. Leur forte volonté est mise essentiellement au service de leur réussite. Ce sont des hommes d'action qui font confiance à leur intuition. Légèrement orgueilleux, ils cherchent toujours à plaire. Ce sont des impatients qui veulent tout et tout de suite.
