Provenance. Forme anglo-saxonne de Régis. Vient du latin "rex", signifie "roi" Se fête le 16 juin.
Histoire. Né en 1597 dans l'Aude, Jean François Régis se fait jésuite. Il met son caractère impétueux au service de l'Evangile et des pauvres, convertissant et remettant les prostituées sur le bon chemin. Il meurt accidentellement, pris dans les neiges, le 31 décembre 1630. On le fête le 16 juin, jour de son ordination sacerdotale.
Caractère. Comme leur saint patron, ils sont infatigables, tenaces et volontaires. Actifs, dynamiques, ils sont parfois difficiles à suivre. Pointilleux, ils ont le goût du détail et de la minutie. L'exactitude et la rigueur sont leurs règles premières. Ils savent aussi être tolérants et généreux. Enthousiastes, ce sont des meneurs d'hommes. En amour, il leur suffit de laisser agir leur charme et ça marche.
