Provenance. Vient de l'hébreu "simsôn" Signifie: "soleil" Se fête le 28 juillet.
Histoire. En bretagne, au VIème siècle, saint Samson est un grand missionnaire gallois. Il débarque en Armorique vers 510 et fonde un monastère autour duquel s'établira la ville de Dol. Samson en sera le premier évêque. Aidé de Childebert, roi de Paris, il participe à l'élimination de Conomor, usurpateur de la couronne de Bretagne, et rétablit Judwal sur son trône. Samson est vénéré comme un héros national et c'est l'un des sept fondateurs de la bretagne.
Caractère. Ils se veulent nécessaires et se créent, s'il le faut, des responsabilités qui les rendent indispensables. Ils aiment agir pour le bien d'autrui. Calmes, patients, dévoués, ils possèdent une autorité natutrelle et le sens du commandement. Peu émotifs, on dirait que rien ne les touche. Ils ont des principes qu'ils ne transgressent jamais.
