Provenance. Prénom dérivé de Sylvie. Vient du latin "silva" Signifie : "forêt" Se fête le 5 novembre.
Histoire. Sainte Sylvie vécut au VIème siècle. C'était la mère de Grégoire le grand. Elle appartenait à la noblesse romaine. Lorsque son fils devint pape, elle continua à veiller sur sa mauvaise santé en lui envoyant, chaque jour, des légumes et des fruits du jardin qu'elle cultivait sur l'Aventin.
Caractère. Elles savent ce qu'elles veulent et mettent tout en oeuvre pour atteindre leur objectif. Volontaires, opiniâtres, travailleuses, elles sont peu influençables et fonctionnent souvent au coup de coeur. Sensibles, intuitives, elles savent prendre des décisions rapides. Elles sont affectueuses, discrètes, leur vie sentimentale est souvent en dents de scie. Assez opportunistes, leur morale est fonction des circonstances
