Provenance. Vient du grec "Sibulla" Prêtresse d'Apollon. Se fête le 9 octobre.
Histoire. Originaire du Hainaut, en Belgique, Sibylle est moniale au couvent cistercien d'Aywières, au XIIIème siècle. -Une autre Sainte, Sibylle de Biscossi, italienne, née en 1287, aveugle à douze ans et orpheline, fut adoptée par une communauté religieuse. Elle vécut recluse jusqu'à sa mort, en 1367.
Caractère. Ce sont habituellement des femmes très séduisantes, pleines de majesté et de grâce. Leur froideur et leur distance ne sont qu'apparentes et cachent plutôt une autodéfence et une certaine timidité. Elles sont discrètes, voire secrètes, et réagissent toujours avec pondération. Un peu sauvages, elles fuient le contact avec le monde et la foule, préférant les petits comités. Elles ont besoin de se sentir épaulées et sécurisées pour s'épanouir. Exigeantes, elles n'aiment pas le laisser-aller.
